Your donation ensures NO-ONE MISSES OUT, transforming lives and helping refugee families thrive in their new homes.

Your support can make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable.
Refugees often face significant obstacles, from missing out on education to lacking vital medical support and being separated from loved ones.
The Australian Refugee Association (ARA) is dedicated to bridging these gaps.

Our services provide for refugees in every stage of their settlement journey!

• Youth Programs like our Homework Clubs, Youth Ambassador programs, in-school workshops, and language assistance help children catch up on their education.

• Our Bi-Cultural Case Workers provide crucial medical and emotional support, accompanying newly arrived refugees to appointments and facilitating introductions to services.

• We also support refugee families in applying for visas to reunite with loved ones and connect them with cultural groups and community activities to foster a sense of belonging.

Let’s work together to build and cultivate thriving communities through ARA, making every new beginning one of understanding, acceptance, and opportunity.

A small regular donation can make a big difference!

The Australian Refugee Association has been providing support to refugees settling in Australia since 1975, for nearly 50 years we have assisted with the settlement of refugees in Australia making ARA one of the longest-serving settlement organisations in Australia.

We provide vital services and assistance to individuals and families navigating settlement and integration challenges into Australian society. Our programs address a range of issues including family reunification and visa assistance, financial and housing support, health literacy and service navigation, employment services and at risk youth and family safety initiatives through bi-cultural case management and group programming.

ARA is supported by Federal, State, and private funders
