Refugee Week Art Exhibition

Congratulations to Jade from our youth program who recently won an award for her work at the Refugee Week Art Exhibition at the Adelaide Festival Centre.

Working with ARA youth worker Ma-Musu Nyande, Jade has depicted Ma-Musu’s refugee experience – “will I always be a refugee or now that I have found refuge, am I just an Australian with a refugee past?”

ARA works to engage youth to better understand the refugee experience and create welcoming spaces for refugees adjusting to school and life in Australia. Learn more here!
