Ramsay Volunteer Recognition Award!

Congratulations to our volunteer Lucy Shwebeth for receiving a Ramsay Volunteer Recognition award.

Lucy has volunteered with ARA for 5 years after being a Youth Ambassador participant while at high school. She has volunteered in the Youth Ambassador program, Homework Clubs, Women’s Group and with the Migration Team.

Currently studying a Bachelor of Laws, Lucy now works part-time in our Migration Team.

She attended the ceremony at Parliament house with her parents and was presented with a certificate by the Hon. Zoe Bettison MP.

Lucy said, “it was amazing to hear the inspiring stories of the nominated volunteers as well as their dedication and commitment towards volunteering. My parents enjoyed the guided tour of the upper and lower houses of the Parliament.“
