Horn of Africa

Celebrate 30 years of African refugee settlement in this taste-fest of Ethiopian, Eritrean, Somali and South Sudanese cultures. Discover traditional food, dances, games and customs from Adelaide’s Horn of Africa communities, and learn how they have built successful new lives in their adopted homeland. For a gold donation you can sample spicy Eritrean wonders, Ethiopia's world leading coffee, the sweet delicacies of Somalia and the special treats of South Sudan. Fun for the whole family and entry is free!

This celebration was created by Adelaide’s Horn of Africa communities and the Australian Refugee Association (ARA), with support from the Migration Museum and a grant from Multicultural Affairs, Department of Premier and cabinet. The Australian Refugee Association is also celebrating its 45th year of resettling refugees in South Australia
