it was wonderful to pay tribute recently to the people who shared their stories for our exhibition “New Land, New Hope”.

City of Adelaide Councilor Franz Knoll, ARA CEO Deb Stringer and Migration Museum Director Mandy Paul led a ceremony thanking the exhibition’s participants for recounting their refugee journeys from conflict zones in Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia and South Sudan.

Each participant had a special paver laid in their name at the Migration Museum’s Settlement Square.
