Come celebrate Refugee Week with us!

The Australian Refugee Association is proud to present a series of Refugee Week events throughout June exploring this year’s theme of healing.

With ARA and The Hawke Centre My Story, My Way Conversation on June 23, we’ll explore the benefits, dangers and responsibilities in the “golden age” of storytelling. Register now for our premier Refugee Week event here

The My Story, My Way youth art competition, exhibition and artist market will display various works from people of a refugee and migrant background, with selected works available for purchase. On at the Kerry Packer Civic Gallery, Hawke Building until June 29.

Our New Land, New Hope banner exhibition celebrates 30 years of settlement from refugees from the Horn of Africa. On at Adelaide City Library until June 30.

ARA co-presents Sharing Our Healing Cultures at various locations in Salisbury on June 24. Register here

ARA’s Youth Ambassadors will gather at multiple workshops to learn about storytelling, creative expression and leadership.
