Our mission is to help refugees become settled and participating citizens of Australia. Our vision is an Australia where refugees are an integral part of a thriving, prosperous community.
ARA strong encourages people to purchase the Digital Edition due to the size of the book and the effect excessive printing has on the environment. Another great reason is it downloads to your device and is available for immediate use!
We’re taking part in the People’s Choice Community Lottery! There’s over 160 prizes to be won and at just $2 a ticket it’s an absolute bargain! Better still, 100% of the proceeds come to ARA, so there’s never been a better time to “be in it to win it!”.
You can now support ARA as part of your normal online shopping routine. Simply follow this link to shop with hundreds of famous retailers, all who have agreed to pay a percentage of your shop to us. It doesn’t cost you a cent more!
You Shop, They Donate, Everyone Smiles
In August 2012 ARA launched our women’s fundraising initiative – LARA (Ladies of ARA). The aim of this venture is to fundraise specifically for ARA’s projects that support women, as well as providing opportunities for women from all backgrounds to meet together, network and build friendships. If you’d like to express an interest in being a part of this group or hosting a ladies’ event, please contact our Manager – Relationships & Social Investment on email@example.com.
