ARA Help Desk

 
ARA’s Help Desk offers assistance, information and referrals to humanitarian arrivals settling in South Australia. Trained volunteers and staff are available to answer questions from recent arrivals, permanent and temporary visa holders and asylum seekers. Assistance may include assistance filling out forms, providing material and financial help, budget advice and an ear to listen. Help Desk is funded by the Department of Social Services and by donations.

ARA has two Help Desk locations which operate between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Appointments are not necessary.
Western Office: 304 Henley Beach Road, Underdale
Northern Office: 1 Brown Terrace, Salisbury

Emergency Relief Program (ER)
The program provides financial support towards the payment of electricity, gas and telephone bills and one off financial support for special circumstances. The ER program is integrated into the Help Desk program. ER is funded through the Department of Social Services.
