The Client services Program is often the first contact people from new and emerging communities will have with ARA. The program incorporates:

 

  • Help Desk
  • Information, referrals and practical support
  •  
  • Casework
  • One-on-one support for settlement issues, which include access to bi-cultural caseworkers at ARA’s Office or one of ARA’s outposts
  •  
  • Accommodation Service
  • Support with finding long-term accommodation
  •  
  • Social Support Program
  • Volunteers help assist clients in their settlement by providing friendship, guidance and practical assistance
  •  
  • Refugee Travel Assistance
  • Assisting sponsors with organising their family’s travel to Australia through IOM (International Organisation for Migration)

  • Life Skills Sessions
  • Life skills information sessions to Humanitarian entrants
